I think it would be OK, but these questions are best asked of a pharmacist, find 1 who will look up side effects for you

Re: xanax and immodium, is it ok??

I take xanax and immodium at the same time and it only makes me a little more tired. Kind of drugged feeling. But Tylenol and xanax together also make me tired. I know it's okay because they've given it to me in the hospital before together.

I just wanted to let you know that it is o.k to take both, A friend of mine gave me this wonderful website where you can look up any drug and see if there are any interactions. It is ..www.drugdigest.com.

Are these meds all from the same doctor? If so, you should ask him about taking the donnatal along with the others. As far as immodium, that one is ok, but mixing other prescribed meds is something I would ask pharmacist or doctor about.

I also have the donnatal and was given that in the hospital along with xanax. They should be fine together. When I got out of the hospital and filled the two prescriptions, the pharmacist just told me I would be tired. Taking them together will make you tired and relaxed. Maybe a little dizzy.

Re: xanax and immodium, is it ok??

Bulletin, Once you are on drug digest, you go to drug library and click on drugs and vitamins. you will type in your med(xanax) then go to check interactions and put in all of the meds you are taking. I did check it for you and there were no interactions except it said avoid alcohol while taking xanax. Hope this helps.

it's always best to check with the pharmacist when getting a new med filled, they have the records of all the meds you are taking, plus they actually know more about drug interaction than you doctor. I was recently put on a new AD, my pharmacist made a point to mention that I had also had a prescription for a similar AD, which at that point I informed him that the old one on record was no longer working for me & that I would not be getting refills for it. The pharmacists are pretty sharp in monitoring what meds you have on file.
