Question A Qestion from Sickman

Since I have posted that we should not take things to heart because everything posted is just an opinion. Should I be honest and post that I think something is just plain bull shi....t, when I see it or should I just let it go? Which do you prefer, being silent or saying what you really think about something? I just don't want to be insulting about someones technique or way of using medicaton but sometimes I have the hardest time holding back. If it is best to let it go then that is fine, I don't want to turn this into a shooting match either. Reply if you want, ignore if you don't.

Sincerely,

Sickman

You are always honest with me and sometimes I may not like the answer........but you don't sugar coat it and that helps...........

I'd be honest but cordial about it.

Kaytee:-)

I agree with KayT.
As long as you make it clear that what you're saying is only your opinion, I can't see a problem with it.

Unhappy Re: A Qestion from Sickman

I really would not call someones post bull shi...t. I am currently going through one of the lowest lows that I have been in for the last couple of weeks and I guess I have been doing some really bizzard things on here. It gets to even the ones that have had this for years, no matter what medications or thoughts you have. It is very hard to practice what you preach with this disorder and I think that realizing that I am acting in this way is bringing me back out of it but it is slow going. I have so many things going on that I are more concerned about then my disorder, that sometimes I don't know which way to turn. There is both a negative and a positvie to managing this disorder. The positive is that you accept that you do in fact have a disorder and deal with it. The negative is when you accept that you have the disorder and give up on the thought that you might get better during a low. I have fallen into my own trap created by my own negative thoughts that I need to strenghten again myself. I am sorry if I offended anyone or have seemed to have lost it at times. I'm working on it and I will bring myself back up again. And just to remind everyone, I have more then panic disorder, so don't think that this is your reality.

Sincerely,

Sickman

Re: A Qestion from Sickman

Sickman, I know for myself, it depends on the mood I'm in at the moment, so if I can recognize that what I'm about to post is rather irrational & due to my mood, then I err on the side of "not posting".
I know when my mood is bad, I can say to myself, "to hell with everything" & could possibly post something that I really don't mean or feel.
If you're talking about straight facts or something you yourself have experienced, then I say go for it.
I think we all have to be aware that any of us at any time may post something due to our situation that day, so we also have to read the replies and realize that someone may be having a really bad day.
