Busiprone - Panic Disorders Message Board

Has anyone tried this med? I read in From Panic to Power that it was not addictable. Just curious if anyone knew more about it or has tried it.

HI. I was on Buspirone, off and on for several years and it worked great for me. When I decided to quit it, it was very easy too;not addictable at all. This time around, it didn't work as well for me, but in the past it was great. I guess my body got used to it or something. When I first started having panic attacks, years ago, they gave me some in the emergency room. AFter that I went on it regularly and it was a life saver!

I take it daily and it works for me. I still have panic attacks but not as severely and not as often.

Buspirone worked for me too.

Thanks everyone for the information. I have Xanax when I need it but working with the generic to Prozac 10mg. I split it and only take 5mg. a day. This is my first week, so maybe I will take the whole 10 mg. soon.
