Lexapro and AGGITATION??? - Panic Disorders Message Board

OK anyone out there get aggitated from LEXAPRO? I take it at night and I wake up mad at the world. ............it seems to get just a little bit better thru out the day but not much. I feel like I am going to explode and I am snapping at eveyone for NO reason...........Would like to hear if anyone else has this from LEXAPRO or other SSRI meds

I also am back on Klonopin .5 3x daily.

i got really aggrivated on lexapro. i was always snapping at people. i just hated everything. lexapro and i didn't agree. it made me have panic attacks left and right. now i'm on effexor and i feel better, no being constantly angry.

How long did you take it before you noticed it? I just started noticing it about 4 weeks in on it...............What was your dosage and did you have any withdrawls when switching to Effexer?

It took several weeks for the aggitation to wear off when I started taking lexapro. I am not usually cranky, but there was no mistaking it. If you can make it throught the aggitation, and wait till the side effets wear off the drug does a good job. I have been on it for a couple years (10 to 15 mg) and have had good results. One of the other side effects I had was having to pee pretty often.

how long did you have to wait for the aggitation and other side effects to go away? i have been on the lex for 7 weeks. i finally got myself up to the 10mg. i have been doing better but it has been such a long process for me. would appreciate any feedback.
