I have experienced kind of the same thing with lexapro. In a way, I love this drug because it helped me SO much. However, my life has settled down now and I am unfortunately ten pounds heavier.
I attempted to wean off of Lexapro about five months ago and it was absolutely terrible. I had to go back on and about an hour after I took just a half of a pill, I felt normal again. I went about it the wrong way - I only allowed myself two weeks to come off. From what I've read recently, it takes at least ten weeks to successfully come off. Good luck... let me know how it goes!
