I often have chest pains, i have been told in the past it's from stress. One time after going in argent care one doctor put me on xanex, and told me to follow up with my doc. After seeing my doctor he told me not to take them anymore and he did not believe i was having panic attacks. Just recently i went in the er with very serious chest pains I felt like I was going to die, they told me it was acid reflex. Has anyone had these sort of problems.
theres info on acid reflux or GERD on the net, theres useful meds available, its a common problem for anxiety sufferers
you need to learn to relax and cope differently with stress, xanax or other valium type meds taken as needed, relax the muscles and should help with chest pain thats caused by stress or anxiety
when anxious, breathe deep and slow and relax.dont tense up or fight back
I have looked on the web, but it seems no one wants to believe it is anxiety, it always something else. i did notice when taking xanax i was much calmer, but the pain always comes on when upset or worried, but it is not bad. I only had attacks with hot flashes when pregnant three years ago, and it only seemed to happen while in crowds, my ob thought it was my sugar dropping. I really don't know what to think anymore.
HI, I definately think it sounds like you have panic attacks. When I first started having them, chest pain was one of my major symptoms. Some doctors will tell you that xanax is bad, but it's great for stopping a panic attack in midstream. You need to find a dr. that is sympathetic to panic sufferers.
