Hi. I think it depends on which meds. My benzos (Ativan) don't require to be taken with food an neither do my ADs (luvox). I have friends, however, who do need to take theirs with food. Check with your pharmacist; they will know more than your doctor.

Also, sometimes it's an individual thing; a lot of people look at me like I am crazy when they see me even taking an asprin without a cracker or something. Some people can't take any meds on an empty stomach.
