Hi.....can you please tell me what effects they will give me on taking one?I am so scared of taking drugs....but have resigned myself to the fact i NEED them due to normal methods failing for chronic anxiety.

So my first tablet how would it normally effect a person?

Do you get used to them like say i felt drunk....would that subside or could i never drive again?

Obviously my Doc says take them and dont worry!

I don't take Xanax any more, but I have in the past.
A lot of the effects you'll feel have to do with how high a dose you're on.
I only took 1/2 mg. so they don't really have a bad effect on me at all.
The do make some people tired, so it is best not to drive until you know how they're going to make you feel.
Even if they do make you tired at first, they won't always make you feel that way, and once you get used to them, which probably won't take long at all you should be able to drive just fine.

xanax is very helpful for panic disorder and 1 disolved under the tongue will stop a panic attack so carry a few with you when out

yes it does depend on the dose, start with say half a mg, the tablets can be cut

you may feel drunk at first but this soon will pass as you get used to it
