Re: oh yeah one more question about panic attacks

Haven't been to this site in awhile but I always have a bout of depression after an anxiety attack. Paxil has been a lifesaver for me. I couldn't do without it.

Yes. After I a panic attack I just want to go lie down. I'm always really low in energy and very tired and fatigued afterwards. I figure its just normal.

Re: oh yeah one more question about panic attacks

Yes this is absolutely normal.
I have found the best way to get through this is to take a nap after having one.
But it really depends on the situation, like if your at home and you have one I get so tired I just lay down and fall asleep, it's really good because it helps you to forget about the attack and relaxes the muscles.
Let's say your not home, like at the mall or something. I would sit down for a couple of minutes and relax take in deep breaths, it's actually pretty soothing sometimes after an attack.
Then again sometimes after an attack some people find themselves very tence and afraid. Just know that you had a panic attack and no physical harm has happened to you and relax and take deep breaths.
