anyone else get this? - Panic Disorders Message Board

I am freaking out because i have had this symptom for about two years and my Dr. says its nothing. I constantly obsessing about health concerns. For example i am very light headed like every day so i think i have a tumor or im having little seizures that will eventually lead into a big one. Well anyway my question is does anyone get muscle twitching. The kind that dont move your limbs or your eyelids but the kind that twitches in the muscle belly and u can actually see them. I get theses everyday even if im not anxious. I also get the twitch not in my eyelid but actually my eyeball. I know that sounds weird but if im reading something or looking at something sometimes my eyeball twitches. I am confinced that i am getting MS or ALS or something. So if anyone gets this from anxiety or panic disorder please let me know. Iam also slowly cutting down my xanax which has something to do with my increase in physical symptoms i think

hmmm well I get twitches and things too.I dont see a connection with my anxiety disorder though.I have had the twitching in an eyeball several times ugh its annoying.Also had this other places on my face and body.I think everyone does.Maybe you are just hypervigliant about it all? Since it sounds like you have been seeing your doctor regulary and he says its nothing I would try not to worry about it.......seizures? I doubt it I think people who have seizures even very mild ones have some loss of consciousness on some level..ex. staring off and then dont remember doing this.MS? doubtful as well being your doctor doesnt seem concerned at all.
try and relax I know its hard I am one of those obsessors over health people too just been doing alot lot better with positive thinking and things.

You sound like me! I do get twitching and I know in my belly sometimes if feels like a baby kick when you're pregnant! I'm not pregnant and have felt this. I really think it's just a muscle spasm though. I'll get tremors and think I have MS too........but I am fine so obviously it's not. I think that is just a part of life. A part of our makeup. Some people get them and some don't. I do know what you're talking about though.........I wouldn't worry about it.
