Magnesium and Anxiety/Panic/Heart Issues

The more I read about magnesium and hear about other's success with this mineral the more I'm convinced that its the real deal when it comes to taking the edge off of anxiety and panic, as well as ease the symptoms of, if not eliminate altogether, heart palpitations, rapid heart rate, etc... Other health problems are helped as well.

Magnesium usually comes with calcium, zinc and sometimes Vit D, which help the body to more fully utilize the magnesium. Around 350 - 600 mg seems to be typical depending on body weight. A 200 lb person may want to take around 500 - 600 mg, for example. Well worth a try and its inexpensive!

I have recently been taking it but it doesn't help Anxiety.Studies show that Magnesium is good for the heart though.

Its unfortunate that it hasn't helped with your anxiety, but there are many, including myself, who've reported that it has helped noticeably in that area.

I have only been taking it for about 6 days now.Usually 600mg's.For extreme Panic and Anxiety sufferer's I doubt that just Magnesium alone will help them in a substantial way.Exercise is the best along with a good diet in my opinion.Magnesium is good for health though and thats why I am taking it.
