| Medical Alert Bracelet for Panic Disorder?
I have seen this discussion on a few other boards, but wanted some input about medical alert bracelets.
I know that medical alert bracelets are more for people with seizures/people who can't communicate in the event of an emergency, but I was wondering if any of you have it for your panic disorder? A friend of mine had one because she would frequently faint during panic attacks, and a few other people I know have them because their panic disorder is coupled with seizures or they are older and want to help rule out heart attack in the event of a really terrible attack. I was thinking about getting one made for my sister, because while she is aware when she is freaking out, she becomes completely hysterical and can't speak, which (as you can imagine) tends to alarm everyone around her.
What do you all think about Medical Alert tags for PD?
