Trazodone anyone? - Panic Disorders Message Board

Anyone take Trazodone for panic attacks. My doctor has given it to me to control some of my anxiety. What are your experiences with it and does it help. Also does it help with sleep?

Hi Christina,
I took Trazodone for a bit about 5-6 years ago.I cant say it helped me sleep as Ive not had problems with sleep.In fact I cant say it helped me but everyone is different.

My doctor just gave me a prescription for trazodone. He feels that if I get a good night's sleep that it will help with my anxiety. I'll be curios to see how it works for you - Good Luck !

Do you have anxiety attacks or what are you on it for?
Are you going to be taking it everyday?
I'll just be taking it when I get one hopfully it will calm me down. I am going to take one tonight though just to see what it does and how it affects me.

I've been dealing with anxiety for years and it really effects my sleep. My doctor wants me to take trazodone at night because he feels that a good night's sleep will help with the anxiety. I guess it's worth a shot. Let me know how you're doing.
