ever get woozy tingly feeling in your head? - Panic Disorders Message Board

and i was doin good until just a few min ago my heart started up when i layed down and my head got a tingly feeling like i was going to pass out, anybody else had this? i just took some zanax and doin better now, back to bed ....zanax should be kickin in more so hope i fall asleep ok :-)

i think the tingle in your head is part of panic attacks.. i get that too when im very anxious and feel a panic attack coming..

dont worry about it.. usually goes away after you calm down

I get that too, Ryan.
Sometimes my head feels almost numb.
It is a very strange feeling, but it usually goes away as soon as I calm down.

i get all dizzy when i have a palpatation, the doc says its cos the bllod rushed to you head due to your heart pumping so fast

Wow I get that too when I'm gonna have a bad one - like tingles moving up across my head...little twizzles would be a good way to describe it. It would be quite a nice thing if you were chilled & relaxed and not in mid panic.
Ryan, read your other notes about drinking - I'm on day 1 of Efexor and being a Brit means drinking is a way of life - I love drinking - in fact it's the only thing that seems to really chill me out. Mind you some of my friends drink on SSRIs and feel fine...may be get more drunk than they would normally - but leaflet with Efexor says to avoid alcohol although doctor said a few drinks would be fine. I will try in safety of own home I think - let me know if you've managed a couple and felt alright.
