HELP!! Im so scared!! - Panic Disorders Message Board

hey , earlier this morning i noticed i forgot my bellyring in the bath room so i went in there and tryed putting it back in , in the mean time i felt sorta nautious and had to sit down , when i finally stood up my face was white as a ghost and my pupils were dialated after that i felt a cold sweat than it went away. My grandma thinks its from me putting my belly ring in. Any suggestions???

This happened to my best friend a few years ago. She took her silver hoop earrings out that had been in for weeks. A day later she decided to put them back in but had some difficulty. Her mother had to help her and one went in fine but when she pushed the other one in my friend got really light headed and passed out in the middle of the kitchen with only a towel on. She said it didn't really hurt and she didn't know what happened. Needless to say, she now sits down in a safe place when she puts her earrings in. I have no idea why this happens but she is fine now and that was about 10 years ago

Maybe you were so intent on getting the ring in that you had your head down and were not paying attention to the fact that you were not breathing properly. That can cause dizziness. I think your ok. Also, another thought that came to mind when I read your post is that it is allergy time and that can cause dizziness. Good luck.
