anxiety cause sever dizziness? - Panic Disorders Message Board

i have anxiety. Most of the time I feel dizzy. I feel like I am on a boat and the room is tipping sideways. My legs get weak and I feel I need to collapse. Once in a while I will get a head rush sensation or even a buzzing in the ear. Sometimes pressure in my head that feels like sinuses because it's in my eye area but I don't have a sinus infection. Are all these symptoms related to anxiety? What do you think this is?

When my anxiety was bad and I was not on medicine it did the same thing to me. That is why I got on medication. By the way, Paxil is working again!!! YEAH!

HI!! you have the same thing as me! whenever i go out in public i get jelly legs and feel so dizzy and get a head rush i even turn really pale! i read before u were on effexor and so am i , ive been on for 4 weeks now at 75mgs and i still feel a little nervous , how about you? and do u feel like you could throw up from effexor?

yes, I am still on effexor, this is my third week. Each week I take an extra pill for seven days. the first week i started with 37mg then it doubled now it's tripled up untill i get to 250mgs i think it is. Effexor messes with my gag reflex. It doesn't upset my stomach but if i don't chew gum when I feel a gag coming on, i probably would throw up. Effexor hasn't started working for me yet. I still have anxiety that I take xanax for. Hopefully I will be off xanax soon and effexor will start working for my anxiety. Hope to hear more responses from people!

Yes sure do...all the time...it is driving me crazy...I alway's feel as if I am off balacened and what not...are there any medications that you can take for this?
