depersonalization...a sense that things seem fake or dream like state - Panic Disorders Message Board

I suffer w/D.P. (depersonalization disorder) which is caused in my case by severe panic disorder. I also have some p.t.s.d. and I have O.C.D., too!

About the D.P., when it comes on... Does anyone that has it, there voice seems strange, like different and makes them paranoid???
Please respond back and if you have D.P., Just let me
know all the feelings you have when it comes on!

that sounds typical, what are your meds? they should be reducing your problems are you trying to relax or staying tensed up all the time?

Yes, I started paxil alitte over two months ago and I am 50% better. However, I have a story on the O.C.D. board called: There is help! Please take a look at it and then reply back and tell me what you think. I posted it about a week ago.

Vidya I suffer from that also..Read my post on Derealization and self identity..I know its the most terrifying feeling in the world..I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy..I wish I could give you some advice, but right now I'm so far into, I see NO way out for myself and fear I'm going to lose control and go crazy b/c of it..Take care-Jenna

I think I read your story already, but I will take a look at it again. Also, I have my story posted on the O.C.D. health board. Take a look at it and tell me if you have the same things as me.(Thanks)
