Does anyone get breast pain or throat spasms from PD - Panic Disorders Message Board

I get alot of breast pains.I also get throat spasms at times that take quite awhile to go away.Does anyone relate to what is happening to me.

Oh, yes. I suffer with odd feelings in my breasts at times. I feel as though my muscles in my breasts are tight. I also get the spasms in my throat. I always blamed it on post-nasal drip or esophagal spasms. My doctor prescribed Xanax and it works wonders.
By the way, I have never been addicted to Xanax and I was taking it quite frequently in my mid 20's. I am now 37 and my anxiety and panic attacks come and go. I may be ok for 6 months or even 2 years but when something stressful arises it seems that they reoccur. Just something that I cope with. I've learned after suffering with this "thing" for so long that I'm not going to die from it. The key thing is to learn coping skills and not thinking so negatively about my symptons. It's a pain in the butt but we will all get through it.

I get pains right above my breasts where the bone is, and through my left arm.. A lot of pain on the outside of my throat, that feels like my muscles have been tense for days on end..and on the inside my throat feels almost like its closing in and sore. I've gotten bruises from holding my hand over my heart consistantly..I wonder if anyone else has this compulsive "hand over heart" thing. Sometimes my ribs also hurt and I get heartburn, too.
