Post Atarax and sleeping ALL day
Hi,

My doctor prescribed me Atarax when my Mother died.I dont take it routinely..I took a 25 MG last night and slept all day!It makes me sleepy everytime I take it.

Does this Medication zonk any of you out?

my book says its an antihistamine, these can make you very drowsy or sleepy at first, less so as you get used to them, divide the tablet into halves next time

It is a Antihistamine...you have to get a prescription unlike Benadryl...
