ok, ive tried paxil, lexapro, and now i am trying zoloft and none of these meds make me feel any better. I am always tired, always feel out of it and i just dont feel any improvement with them. Its like everyday i wake up i feel so tired and am frightened by the thoughts and body symptoms i have everyday. I am thinking about quitting the meds and just going natural and taking zanax whenever needed but i just want to know if anybody has had the same effects of meds as i have. I just really think the meds are making me worse than helping me improve.

i KNOW ANTIDEPRESSANTS TEND TO DO THAT. I MYSELF COULDN'T TAKE THEM. I FELT MY PANIC ATTACKS WERE WORSE ON THEM.THAT'S JUST MY OPINION, I HAVE KNOWN PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN THEM AND FELTS NOTHING, AND OTHERS WHO FELT SYMPTOMS AT FIRST AND THE GRADULY SUBSIDED. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN TAKING THE MEDICATION?

i took paxil for about a 1 1/2 months, lexapro 2 months, and tom. will be 2 weeks on 50mg of zoloft. and i feel like ****!!! (excuse my language but that is the best word to explain how i feel)

Hi Moose, antidepressants often make us worse at first and some never find one that helps, all you took are the SSRI type, prehaps later you could try another type such as a SNRI, for example effexor
many do OK on effexor as needed, coupled with learning coping skills and relaxation
carry some xanax with you when out and disolve 1 under the tongue when anxious or panicky
