A few questions - Panic Disorders Message Board

Good Morning everyone!
I just found this board, so this is my first post. I suffer from anxeity/panic attacks and I am 24 years old. Lately, my anxeity has become more frequent. I am going to see a psychatrist in a few weeks on advisement of my therapist. I have a few questions.

I have been researching anxeity online and I have been reading a lot about magnesium and how lack of it can cause anxeity. Does anyone else know about this?

Also, my anxeity comes and go. Sometimes 3 days will go by where I feel like my normal self. Does anyone else experience this?

Has anyone tried Valerian Root or any other herbs to help with anxeity?

It's fairly common to have panic free days...at least it is for me.
It's common for it to go away for weeks, months or even years at a time...mine went away for 7 years.
I have very few panic attacks now.
I have more, what I call, hyper days.
I just feel really keyed up on those days, and I usually bring those on myself..not on purpose...but just when I have to go somewhere that I really don't want to go, or if I have to go some place where I've had a panic attack in the past.

check out the thread my chest felt full! help, I've put some stuff there about magnesium. I've found it definately helped me

Thanks so much for the replies. It helps so much to read this board and know that other people experience the same kinds of things. It makes me less worried about going "crazy".

daisy head.... i am 25 yrs old and i just started getting my panic attacks 4 months ago, and for no apperant reason... i havent had an attack for 3 weeks now, because i was hypnotized, i really feel that it helped me alot. i still have this constant fuzzy feeling in my head though,do u have that feeling? i was put on effexor, and it makes me feel crazy, also i got xanex, and klonopins which help me sleep. have you been to the doctor yet? and are u on any medication? any ideas why you started having panic???
