fluoxetine/prozac calling users - Panic Disorders Message Board

What happened to the other people just starting this med? I am on day four and dont want to feel alone. I was so scared to try a med after my last experience and finally gave in. Please only support anyone else out there on this. How many mg? How are you feeling? How long have you been taking this? I am taking it with .5 klonopin in the morning and .5 klonopin in the evening fluexetine once daily in morning 20mg.

Its only been four days and I feel wierd. I got slightly sad and cofused eating dinner and then went and fell asleep. I havent done that in almost a year since I was hit with panic. But I have been getting way less palpitations and no MAJOR panic attacks at all. Does anyone no what is going on with me. Why Am I so scared of this med if it seems to be working?

HI, I AM ALSO ON 20MG IN THE MORNING! I POSTED UNDER MY LAST POST "SHOULD I DEMAND TESTS" I WROTE HOW IT MADE ME FEEL, I HAD AWFUL SIDE EFFECTS AT FIRST, THIS IS MY 8TH DAY ON IT AND I DON'T FEEL BAD, I JUST FEEL SPACY. HOW ARE YOU FEELING, WHAT EFFECTS ARE YOU HAVING? HAVE A GOOD ONE

Hey,
i was on prozac along with klonopin for about a year.The first few weeks were blurry then after a while i felt good.The only side effect was that it kept me up at night,but other then that i was ok.

Thank you so much you guys for responding. This forum is all I have. My husband constantly tells me to quit being scared of nothing. I was out today and all I could do is pray in the car that someone would respond by time I got home.

My heart rate seems to be slowing down a little, for those that dont know I am so anxious that my holter results came back with an average of 98 bpm and thats when not in panic.

This is day four of prozac/fluoxetine The highest my heart rate has hit is about 94 and my average is 84/88 I think the .5 Klonopin I take once in the morning with the med and .5 in the evening is helping.

I still feel a little nervous but the wierd thing is I havent had a major panic attack yet (I can hit 180bpm no problem) and if it was just for ten minutes like most web sights say that would be a blessing.

I guess I am just scared to take meds. That is understandable though. For me it was a bad mix of meds that ended me up in ER with 220 bpm for quite a while. Ever since then I have had panic.

I feel a little spacy, a little nervous, but I guess I cant complain because I dont feel terified. But this is supposed to take a couple to several weeks to start working. Why do you think it is responding so soon?
