Help!! - Panic Disorders Message Board

I was just cleaning my ear piercings (which I fear MAY be infected) and I suddenly started seeing dots in front of my eyes that were moving around like flies! Then anything I tried to focus on went blurry! I'm really scared the infection may have spread to my brain! Please help!

Take a deep breath. What is the lighting like in the room you are cleaning your ear piercings? That may have something to do with it. Are your earrings shiny? Maybe you focused on a bright object and when you turned from it, you started seeing dots and the panic took off from there. God Bless.

do you have a fever? is their alot of pain in or around you're head? more than likely this was just a panic attack or you became dizzy from something else ,did you get up too fast? what ever it is it's not an enfection in the head, infections run threw you whole body and you'd be sick, like a fever!and believe me if the ear looks bad it might be an infection, but it's in you're ear not you're head. focuse on the real issue and stop scaring yourself,take care!!!!!don't make it be something that it's not.

have you ever had a migraine? I get them once every two years, I don't necessarily get a really bad headache, but my vision gets disturbd for 20 minutes, one time I had tunnel vision and could only focus on one number on a digital clock, the other time I had flashing lights and the other time I woke up and in the morning my vision was really blurry. V scary but lots of people get them
