Paxil withdrawal?? - Panic Disorders Message Board

Hi guys. I have been on Paxil since the middle of this summer and it has done wonders for me.

However, lately I have found myself to be dizzy. I also haven't been taking my Paxil as routinely as I should. I just got into a lazy habit with it I suppose.

My question is, could this be the reason for my dizziness? I'm not panicking about it, which is amazing, but I just wonder if it would be some kind of withdrawal or if I need to get something checked out.

If it makes you more comfortable check it out. But dizziness is on the top of the list for anxiety. I would start taking the paxil more routinely again. Finding a med that works is so hard for lots of people/Once you find it you should be on it at leasr six months to one year excessively anxious free before they start to wean you off ans see if your doing better without meds. One of the top reasons for relapse according to doctors is people start feeling better or get to the point there symptom free for a short while and then pull back or take the meds for granted. But never forget it is within you to face your fears and make the changes in your life to reduce stress and bring balance. Your meds are just a bridge to help you do that and for some a necessity to make them able. Right now for me I think its a necessity.
