Heart Skipping Beats Since Age12 Now 32 - Panic Disorders Message Board

my heart has been skipping beats since the age of 12, i'm now 32, it only skipped beats when i played heavy sports, or it only skipped once a year, now i get it almost every day, i went to the doctor and they did EKG, Stress Test, They made me run on a mill and it all came back negative. what the hell is going on?, i get rapid heart beats but i think that it's due to the skipped beats that i get that has me so stressed out. what is your opinion? let me know please.

hi stevo, ive had really bad skipped beats since i was 16 and im now 27 and i dont think they will ever go. ive had many tests and all mine come back normal as well.they say its just stress.

Hi stevo,I have had my heart skip everyday it almost never stops stipping.This started last nov and it just got worse .Been through all the test and they came up with my heart isnt skipping it just isnt beating hard at that time.I have suffered with panic attack since 1999 and they say it is because of them .But is there anyone else out there that has your heart slipping all the time . toycrazy69

Hi Stevo:

Maybe you need a magnesium or pottassium supplement. I had arythmia and it was caused by stress. Try drinking cammomile tea 3 times a day with no sugar or milk in it. Also stay away from coffee and cigarettes. I bet ya it will start beating normal again. Especially if all your tests came back fine.

anxiety and stress often cause the heart to skip beats, its nothing to worry about and wont do any harm
