Post Comforting

I propose under someone elses suggestion that we open a section discussing only positive aspects and conforting ideas and experiences in panic. Anything reassuring about panic or anxiety for those that have a difficult time reading about scary thoughts or bad experiences can turn to this section for information.

I think this section is a great idea - I was a sufferer of panic attacks for a long time, and I have gotten through it. ( I posted something about this earlier.) I currently take zoloft for anxiety, and my symptoms re practically non-existant. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask - I know what you are going through and I would love to help in any way that I can!!

this is a good idea ,beacause in my experience the onces that focuse on their symptoms often feed off of each others nagetives, this is what keeps you in this , all about help is to up you're self esteem, and to find good coping skills, and help ,not to feed off of each other's symptoms and problems although it's helpful to talk about them,but sometimes it gets to be too much, and it's not healthy exspecialy for a really anxious person, i know that was the last thing i wanted to know. because once i heard someones else's symptoms i had them, lol.

Great idea, I have a positive thing come out of panic attacks and that is it got me clean off drugs and made me a better person, I don't take things for granit anymore, I love life, and if it wasn't for a huge panic attack that scared me straight I would still be a loser today. I don't like panic but I take it as a sign from god. I just have to get through this, and it is not the worst that could happen. Have a great night.

Yeah, panic got me off of just about everything but Alcohol and cigarettes. It also expanded my knowledge on medical things (which may not always be a good thing, but still). Overall i would say that panic has taught me that i should not just take my brain for granted.
