ok, i've read alot of posts, with alot of ideas, and coping skills, who here believes that these coping skills could actually cure you? have all of you tried them? all you with this disorter, what have you actually done to help yourself, and NOT MEDICATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???? JUST WONDERING

I think I have tried everything to try and cure my panic. Nothing helped but meds. I have come to terms that this is somthing I will have to always live with.

I can go years without panic then one day it will just hit.

I know you did not want to hear about meds but......Thank god for them they gave me back my life.

I have tried herbology, acupuncture, hypnosis, cognitive therapy type books, self help books, and if you tell someone with panic disorder to relax and rest more often you will probably get "yeah right" if it was that easy as a response. Same here finally gave in about ten days ago. Meds it is. But always open to suggestions.

I have tried SR, Deep Breathing, Distraction and senseless outbursts of anger on inanimate objects. So far, only the senseless outbursts have helped to ease the feelings.
