Night lights causing nearsightedness?

I've read several conflicting studies about the effects night lights have on young children's eyes before the age of two. The original study claims that night lights cause myopia. I felt better when I read 2 studies that disproved this. However, today a friend told me there was another recent study in November 2003 that says night lights are indeed a cause of myopia. What is correct? Where can I read about this study in 11/03? I used a night light for my 2 year old since birth. Now I'm concerned!
