To much TV and the link to ADD...

Has anyone else heard that Dr.s and the like are linking ADD in toddlers/children to to much TV? Does anyone believe this? I haven't really heard the facts behind it but it's interesting and would like to hear everyone's opinion.

I always have the TV on in the room because I like the background noise and every once in awhile it will catch my 13 month old's eye but he isn't to intersted right now. But later on...I will definantly keep this in mind.

Re: To much TV and the link to ADD...

The radiation alone is a nono but ADD I think not maybe. Bad programming like those SBSP RR PBJ show are a bad influence most definetly. MAybe it is the video games. It is the caffeine and adrenaline-hormones most humans are getting in their diet from hidden sources if you all really knew. The food chain is the answer to most every other ailment except those ailments induced by OTC and Pharmecueticals taken by parents or Environmental Pollution.

The rule by some docs is no tv before 2and a half years then after only two hours max till adulthood. How else are parents going to compete against the 35 people it makes to make an interesting show like bluesc or dora. Humans need Human interaction to have normal brain function- that has been proven over and over with the wildchildren studies.
