question - what is your response to the behaviour and proper way to handle these situations?
storyline - 7:15pm, while making dinner for the family, my wife asks where my son is? He is suppossed to either call or be home by 7:00pm. I reply - I haven't heard from him. She next says - well it's 7:15 and he isn't here, have you changed the rules? No, I said. Which she then says - will he be paying the consequences? This is in front of our daughter. She has a tone to her voice and moves on to more questioning - even after I recommend she ask questions nicely or to drop this.
It then proceeds into an arguement as she will not drop the issue - as she feels she has done nothing wrong.
