Thanks for asking this question! I got the idea, but couldn't for the life of me figure out what those dang letters stood for!! I just figured I'd see the meaning somewhere since EVERYONE seemed to know but me!!

I had no idea either!!!!!!!! I knew the second D in DD had to be daughter and the S was son...got that because of the pronouns used within the post. "My DD got her first tooth....My DS is 7 months old and he...." But I had no clue whatsoever what the first D stood for!

Thank you for asking!!!! I should have a long time ago!

There are also mil - mother-in-law, bil - brother-in-law, fil - father-in-law, sil- son-in-law, dil - daughter-in-law
