What would you do if, your daughter has been acting really silly and using baby language. At first it would be funny, but then it would get annoying. What would you do? Thank you

Older children resort to using baby language to get attention. Try to give her undivided attention at the appropriate times and when she needs it. Then, there will be no excuse for trying to get attention in the negative way.
How old is she? My 7 year old does that (she' been doing it for years on and off), but it's all out of fun and acting cute. My only concern was that her little sister (13 months younger) is speech delayed and I wanted to have everyone speak normal so she would learn to speak properly, but it hasn't hindered her. Could she be doing it just to be cute? Is she doing it all day? Or just at specific times?
