My suggestion? Training pants or underwear. I work in a preschool and have a 4 year old daughter, and I think the child needs to feel when they're wet or soiled. They need that uncomfortable feeling to trigger an "UH-OH! THIS DOESN'T FEEL GOOD!" in their brain. Pull-ups may work for some children, but the majority thinks it's a waste of time and $$$ (those darn things can be expensive).
What worked with my daughter? Power Puff Girl underwear. And please be consistent. So many times we see children doing well in underwear, and then the parent decides to switch back and forth. I confuses the child, and can cause them to regress back to wetting themselves.
Good luckl!!!
