Hi there! It is nice to see some names I recognize from the pregancy board!! My DD was born on 8/12/03 and is also 2 months old! You guys sound like you are both doing well! Have you had an vaccinations yet? If so, what do you think about the DTaP shot?

Hi Bellestar!

I'm glad you posted because there is a question I tried to ask you before but I don't think you saw it. When you posted your birth story you mentioned your mom and sister came down from Upper Michigan, I was wondering from where because thats where I grew up...

Anyways, Samuel was sick around his 2 month birthday so he didn't get any shots yet. He actually has his appointment tomorrow!

I never get used to it, no matter how many times I have done it. As for the DPaT shot, it is a lot safer than the old DPT shot.

Our kids get their shots, except for the Hep B and Chicken pox (and any of the newer ones that they seem to be pushing everytime we go to the doctors). My dh is very anti-vaccine, he didn't want them to get any shots so we had to compromise.

Hey Coppertop! My parents live in Menominee and my sister is attending Michigan Tech University in Houghton and I use to live in Crystal Falls but live in Illinois now! Where did you grow up? I hope your little one is feeling better and good luck with the shots! My baby girl just cried so much and then I started crying to b/c I knew it had to hurt! Have a wonderful day!

I grew up in Baraga (about 1/2 south of Houghton). I went to Lake State in Sault Ste. Marie and moved downstate to Traverse City three years ago. My parents recently moved to Munising.

What is your baby girls name? Is she your first baby? Forgive me, I just don't remember from back when we were pregnant!

I know about where Baraga is! My daughters name is Mary Christine and yes, she is my first! She is truly just a joy and I had to return to work this past monday and I am having a hard time but as each day goes by it gets a little easier and she is so happy to see me when i pick her up from day care! how is Samuel?
