just a note to find out how your little sister is? i hope my reply to your post scared the crap out of her. lol. my daughter is 17 with a boyfriend the same age. she's a good girl with a big heart. i just hope when and if the time comes for her to make important decisions about her relationship with this guy, that i have guided her and given her the tools to reach a decision she's happy with. she is working toward being more independent, but she is also watching my reactions to her independence. i believe she still wants me to be there in the shadows "just in case". i hope everything is going well for your sister. just let her know that you'll be there for her with advice or even just an ear when she needs it. try not to be too judgemental. it helps to be open minded to keep the lines of communication open with her. i found if you become too judgemental and too involved in her world, she backs off and pulls away. good luck and let us know how things are going for ya.
