Is it wrong HB User
Is it wrong to feel this way?
My dad had an affair 3 years ago and she got pregnant. She's younger than me, and they had a son. He's really stepped up to the plate and loves him a lot. My problem is how much he loves his son, he worships the ground this little boy walks on.

My dad has never shown interest in my own children who are 4 and 5 and never in my brother's 7 and 3 year old. It really bothers me... Is that wrong?

I totally understand how you feel. I am sure I would feel exactly the same way.
I guess having a child is different than having a grandchild. The fortunate thing is that your kids have YOU to adore them, and your brother's children have him. You feelings aren't wrong, yet I hope that you can put them aside to see how important it is that your Dad be a good Dad to his little son. I know that doesn't make you feel any better about how he treats YOUR children. Is there a way for your Dad to grow closer to your children and your brother's children by making opportunities for all of the kids to do things together? Maybe that will help.

He never spent time with my brother and I either as kids so I guess I dislike that too...

We've tried to get him to Play with the other kids, but much to my mother's dismay he likes the adults more.
