Parkinson's and attention span/memory
My 84 year old father has had PD for about 10 years. Physically he has been declining all along to where now he can use a walker with help or is pushed in a wheelchair. Lately we have noticed that his mind jumps from topic to topic and he is not able to talk/focus on one subject more that a minute at most. The subjects he talks about have nothing to do with the original conversation. Is this a symptom of PD or is it something else?
Re: Parkinson's and attention span/memory
My husband has attention problems also, I don't know for sure if it's PD I would like to know also. I find myself repeating the same thing several times.
