Smile PD Denial and Socks!

Hi All,
I am looking for advice. My Father in Law has been diagnosed 5 years and recently his syptoms have become much more severe. The problem is, he will never discuss this with anyone, he is in total denial and it is becoming a huge strain on my Mother in Law. Most of their friends don't know he has PD, a lot think he is a drinker! Can anyone advise how he can come to terms with this? He has agreed to go for counselling, can anyone recommend anything?
On a lighter note, he is really struggling to get dressed, particularly with socks. Can anyone recommend socks that are easier to put on when you have PD?
