Steve
When the neuro first saw me in July of 05 he immediately said MS or PD. He started doing MRIs, ruled out MS but then found spinal stenosis (a crimping of the central spine) C4-C7. I had sugery within 3 weeks of that. Post surgery I was doing good but the arm swing and gait remain problems along with a slight right arm tremor. The gait however is NOT a PD gait according to all doctors I've seen but 4 of 5 doctors I've seen over the past two years think I have two problems - MRI's show I still have some C5-C6 stenosis but they feel I have PD too. On the other hand I've gone two years on a very low dose of requip and azilect with no change and the new physiatrist I'm seeing says he doesn't feel cogwheeling in my arms/legs.
