Hi thanks for being here. I am a nurse and I live with a very difficult man, ie I hate doctors. Anyway, This week I noticed tremors, on questioning him he said they have been occuring for weeks. I looked up Parkinsons Disease and found out several other signs, Horrible shoulder and arm muscle pain for the last 9 months, a sad like appearance on his face and of course the tremors.
We went to the doctor today, begrudginly and the doctor totally blew him off, an embarassment to the profession. Said the shoulder was not a surprise concidering his line of work. Hello! For nine months. He finally admitted that he shakes uncontrolably at times. The doc once again said of these are probably familial tremors. We'll just watch them. He scheduled him for a regular physical in 3 weeks and will address the should then.
What a moron.............
What do you all think?
Am I being to agressive? I think the doc did not do any other test to determine if this could be PD, Like ask questions about his gait, or his handwriting or his shoulder.
I appreciate your feedback
