Stalevo? - Parkinson's Disease Message Board

I have read a little about this, and it seems the third medication in the combination (has Sinemet in it with 1 more med for keeping the Levodopa in the brain) is supposed to help some.

Does anyone know if it works any better or is anyone taking it? Also would like a definition from those who know more about it, about how it works, and if it's a step up from Sinemet or does it have its side effects too?

My mother is taking Stalevo 200 for just over two years, 4 tablets per day plus Amantadine No major side effects. Its working better than Sinemet CR and some other drug she was on before.
