sinemet

hi
im looking for advice for my mom, she has been on sinemet for 3 years for parkinsons, it really helps and she is generally happy with it. however she feels sick quite a lot and is unable to eat and drink lots of things she enjoyed previously, even a cup of tea makes her feel sick.
does anyone else suffer with this? we have asked nurses and no one else seems to.
any advice would be very helpful, thanks

I am taking Requip generative, now for a year, it seems to have helped me. I had no side effects, but that is me. I would look to a second opinion. I am on 3 rd Nuerologist, who is young and has the a current Knowledge of the various drug therapies. I feel the older doctors tend to stay with what they were taught when they went to College.

Re: sinemet

My mom feels sick often too. She's been on sinemet about 3 years also. When we try to increse the dose because her tremor is worse she really gets sick and sees things that aren't there!?!!?

Update:
They took me off the sinemnt and put me on requip. After4 years I started to get sick, plus I was not going to take two different pills. The doctor tells me there are a couple diferent cross over of pills that she might put me on one day.
