I have started freezing up the last year and have tried several different tricks to try to get going with only marginal success at best. Some are; counting cadence, putting the tip of my cane in front of me, looking at the ceiling. I tried one today that I heard about and works pretty good for me. Use one of the laser pointer lights. I shine it in front of me on the floor and off I go. You might try it if you are not having much success with others.
