Strange, i know, but true...can anyone out there explain this phenomenon?
I'm sure it has something to do with gravity and buoyancy...needless to say, i'll be in the nearest pool on a regular basis!
Anyone else experience this? If not, try it!!!!!!!!!! |
Swimming and walking are the two most-approved exercises for PDers. I do deep-water aerobics 3 early mornings a week, for the PD, as well as the osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia diagnoses. I really miss just being able to swim laps, either front or back, but my knees won't take it anymore. But, after 3 years of some type of swimming, I firmly state that while in the water, it seems the motion of the water makes me forget the tremors, plus no one else can see them. And, as a very short lady in our group says, when in the water, everyone is the same height!! Oh, water, the kindest medium. Lory
