Bebe, I can understand your experience, because I worked in a hospital for 28 years, have had pd for eleven years and occasionaly had to give injections. I can remember it took intense concentration to keep from shaking while injecting a patient. I think I worked for seven years after being diagnosed and I never had anyone complain about my shaking.
I almost hesitate to say this, since I have had little luck with my DBS/STN surgery, but the medtronic rep. told me it is much easier to program just for tremors, because you are only dealing with one symptom. The surgery is approved by the FDA and has been available longer then the DBS/STN surgery. After my exprience with the surgery, I don't think I should give you my opinion. I can tell you the surgical procedure went well for me and seemed to be easy. You will have to make that decision yourself.
