When you first start taking Sinemet and achieving the best result, the drug should relieve the tremors, but as you continue to take it year after year, the tremors will likely return. In the future, you can add Comtan with the Sinemet and you might be able to take a lower dose of Sinemet. THeir is a new drug on the market that contains both Sinemet and Comtan. Amantadine is an old drug that might reduce dyskinesia.
Tremors are usually treatable with the DBS surgery, but that too is in the future.
