"I am experiencing considerable pressure and pain in the back of my head when I stand up to work for any length of time or during my 'off' periods of my medication. (Senemet) My Parkinson symptoms started in my legs and feet, causing much pain and pressure in my legs, especially during the day. Then I feel very sick and weak, much like a bad case of the flu, and I find it difficult to do anything but lie down. I'd appreciate any suggestions."

Having frequent off periods and occasional weakness might suggest you need an adjustment in your meds. You mentioned taking Sinemet. A good combination of drugs that have helped me is to take Comtan with every dose of Sinemet. Comtan extends the level of dopamine, and it enabled me to extend the time betwen doses and deleting one dose ofSinemet.

The muscle pain is caused either by the ridgityof your muscles or dystonia. Taking the correct doses of your pd drugs might relieve the muscle pain.

One drug that has helpd me with muscle cramps is Clonazepam.
