My grandfather's mother had Parkinsons Disease, and they think that my grandfather may too now. He is going for testing at some time but i don't really know when.
I know nothing about the disease, not even the basics. Can somebody tell me about it or does anybody know a good website where i can find out more?
I love my grandfather and im so scared for him.

Someone please help.

Hi Ruffian,

We are not allowed to give websites on here, but if you just type in "Parkinson" you should be able to get lots of information. Just remember, not everything you read on the Internet is necessarily true or accurate.

i thought that you could give websites as long as it wasn't advertising

Ruth gave you some good advice. I agree with her posting web sites is not a good idea.

If you can find it the NPF web site is a great source of information. You can sign up and ask Dr.Lieberman anything that is on your mind.

Always consider the source of your information. The internet is full of quack "cures" for pd.
