Looking for input....
My grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson's about 4 years ago. She is 87. She had the tremors in hands and feet mostly, and the shuffle. The tremors aren't nearly as pronounced now as they were when she was first diagnosed. Her mental ability has decreased rapidly in the last year, and she has a hard time remembering who we all are, where we live, etc. She even seems to mix herself up with others. She is in an adult family home, very well cared for, but doesn't know what to do with her time. She calls my mom 12 times a day to ask her for her phone number, or to ask about her bank accounts or furniture. She doesn't have the short term memory for anything like cards or checkers... What can she do with these last few (we hope, for her sake) years of her life? She is too often feeling panicked, and really needs something to take time in her day.
She uses a walker and wheelchair, and has had some falls resulting in broken bones, so much exercise is out.
TIA>
