Managing Parkinson's without pharmaceuticals - only diet

Has anyone attempted managing their symptoms without pharmacuticals? (ie. Sinemet etc)

I would like to keep off of Sinemet as long as possible as I am only 40 and want to have it available when things get really, really bad.

I was diagnosed about a month ago after having symptoms on and off for nearly 6 years. I felt best when I was fully vegan and was wondering if anyone else has had similar results.

I'm not talking intravenous glutathion, fava bean concentrates or supplements. I'm talking about going vegan, or pretty darned close to it, or going the opposite way, eating high tyrosine or phenylalanine containing foods while not taking any pharmaceuticals.
